Here we have another sheet for another example where we are getting all the relevant values for respective items for the selected month. Once we change the month we will get the relevant items values for the selected month. You can see the exact same values for each month for the relevant items. Vlookup Excel Tutorial multiple sheets to get relevant items total cost on a single sheet we have template of 6 months, each item has different total cost in each month as an example here you can see we have different total cost for every item in different months. So 1st we have to add Items List to lookup their total cost. So let’s copy Items list and paste in Items column. Now we can apply Lookup Formula to get values from different sheets. 1st we apply simple formula then we will change it, select the lookup value, then select table array, here we need Jan data so we need to select Table array from Jan Sheet, here Column index number is four to get total cost. If we put one so it will show item name, for exact value you can select False or 0. Here Item name is appeared. If we change column index number 1 to 4 total cost of Jan is appeared. You can match the Numbers from the Jan sheet. Before moving forward please like this video. To drag the formula Items column should be fixed as well as table array also needs to be fixed. Once we drag this formula some value will not be appeared as we don’t have those times in jan sheet for that we will apply IFERROR Formula. By IFERROR formula we will remove N/A Error for perfect look . After removing the error once we drag it on the left side we are not getting required values as we have in Feb Sheet for that we need to Edit Formula again. Here INDERECT Formula will help us, INDERECT Formula was explained in Previous video. Instant of Jan with the help of Indirect Formula we will use Cell reference to get the sheet reference.
